A100 HSS Drill 9.0 mm Dormer

The Dormer A100 HSS Drills series come in a wide variety of sizes and can be used for most material applications including steels, cast steel, graphite, aluminium alloy, nickel-brass, malleable cast iron and grey cast iron. The A100 HSS drills have a pointed angle, 118 ° and standard helix, right-hand spiral.

The black finish (W-Finish) is a common finish which produces a black oxide layer over the drill. The oxide layer aids chip flow helps to dissipate heat by retaining some coolant on the tool surface and also helps to prevent the tool from staining.

The drills are suitable for both hand and machine use.
