Jasic 180SE MMA Welder Package 240v

The Jasic 180Amp arc welder 240v is a very popular model as it comes complete with the lead set (earth lead & electrode holder lead) plus the plastic carry case. The only additional items that the welder requires to use the equipment effectively is the 16amp plug, some welding electrodes, a welding helmet and some PPE (Gauntlets, overalls etc) to protect them.
This inverter welder is equipped with the latest IGBT technology and a singular PCB which enhances the maintenance and efficiency of the machine.

What is IGBT technology?

An insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) is a three-terminal power semiconductor device primarily used as an electronic switch which, as it was developed, came to combine high efficiency and fast switching. As of 2010, the IGBT is the second most widely used power transistor, after the power MOSFET.

The advanced inverter technology is furnished with self-adaptive arc force which allows easy starting of the machine.

What is Arc Force?

Arc Force, sometimes called “Dig” or “Arc Control”, is a similar feature to Hot Start, except Arc Force operates during welding, not just at ignition. When the welding inverter senses a short circuit it will deliver a peak of current. This greatly assists in stabilizing the arc, preventing the arc from cutting out while welding and preventing electrode sticking.
