Description

Mosa CS 230 YSX-CC/CV ECO Diesel 210 A Welder Generator

The Mosa CS 230 YSX-CC/CV welder generator is specified for the general welding and fabrication sector and is designed for use in both the workshop environment and out on site. This machine is powered by the 4-stroke Yanmar L 100 N diesel engine which is very resistant and durable for most MMA welding processes. The machine has the capacity to weld up to 210Amps @ 60% duty cycle (MMA).

This super silent engine delivers both welding and generator power with minimal sound emissions due to its specially designed compact canopy. This generator offers both single-phase generation of 5kva and three-phase generation of 6kva. The welder generator is predominately used for most welding applications on-site whereby the standard mig welder can’t easily access the job on hand. One of the main benefits is that you can use this machine as a stand-alone generator when the welding isn’t in operation. This means you can power up lights, power tools etc which are all part of the essential equipment required for onsite work. Therefore, the welder generator can be used for two purposes which benefits the operator by saving you time, space and money.

This machine has the CC and CV welding output modes: –

CC (Constant Current) SMAW (Stick) and GTAW (TIG)

• Current range: 20 ÷ 210A
• Duty cycle: 210A – 60%, 180A – 100%
• Open circuit voltage: 65V

C.C. Welding (Constant Current) GMAW (MIG)/FCAW (Flux Cored) CV (Constant Voltage)

• Current range: 15 ÷ 30V
• Duty cycle: 210A – 60%, 180A – 100%

Constant Current vs. Constant Voltage Output

Note that a welding arc is dynamic, in which current (A) and voltage (V) are changing constantly. The power source is monitoring the arc and making millisecond changes in order to maintain a stable arc condition. The term “constant” is relative. A CC power source will maintain current at a relatively constant level, regardless of fairly large changes in voltage, while a CV power source will maintain voltage at a relatively constant level, regardless of fairly large changes in current.

Features & Benefits

• Arc welding source in D.C. welding
• High-frequency control of welding current and voltage
• Engine cowling side, can be completely opened, which facilitates all maintenance operations
• The recessed control panel is lockable and houses the sockets and machine
• A.C. generator, single-phase and three-phase
• Aux power also available while welding
• Power optimiser (engine power optimization system)
• VRD – Voltage reduction device
• Large fuel tank (23 l)
• Meets EC directives for noise and safety
