2450 mm x 27 mm (0.9 mm) x 6/10 TPI M42 Bandsaw Blade
The Goldcut universal bi-metal bandsaw blades are ideal for all cutting applications and are suitable for material with a high carbon content (such as cast iron), for material with small cross-sections and thin-wall profiles/tubes. In the Goldcut range, you can purchase blades up to 41mm wide and over 7000mm in length.
The evenly distributed carbides in the tooth tips which are formed during the hardening and tempering process ensures excellent high wear resistance with these blades. The martensitic structure of the tooth tips and high cobalt content create excellent hot hardness and toughness reducing wear rates at high sawing speeds. With a high chromium backing strip, the saw blade can withstand the considerable flexing stresses, tension and blade guide pressure present in modern sawing machines.
These blades are generally used in most welding and fabrication sectors for the cutting of metal blades, beams, box section and flats. Typical end-users include structural steelwork, general engineering and metal fabrication where the cutting of metal is part of their everyday process.
For more specific blade requirements or for cutting hardened materials, we can also offer specialist blades for these applications. If you can confirm the material type, thickness and width then we can quote accordingly for your needs.
