Description
Filarc 56R is a basic, thin-coated AC/DC electrode providing excellent mechanical properties. The electrode ensures fully penetrated root passes, even under adverse conditions. Low moisture content coating and high resistance to moisture re-absorption.
The MMA electrodes are designed for the joining of rails for the trains to run on.
The electrode is hydrogen controlled and can be operated using AC and DC power sources in all positions. It has a smooth running performance with very low spatter so minimal post-weld cleaning is necessary. It is primarily intended for welding Carbon and Carbon- Manganese steels but is also suitable for depositing non-machinable weld on Cast Iron.
