The F-Tech grey PVC coated steel liner is designed for use with 1.2mm & 1.4mm mild steel (ER70S-2, ER70S-6 etc.) welding wires. Problems can arise when these liners are used for other types of wires such as stainless steel and aluminium. Steel liners are naturally more resistant and are abrasive on the softer wires.
This liner will fit the FT300 / FT400 aircooled & FT500W watercooled F-Tech fume mig torches. These liners have a good balance of flexibility and rigidity.
