Why do I need a Refrigerated Dryer?
The main benefit of the refrigerated dryer is to remove the water content within the air that is sucked in by the compressor. This ensures that your piping, tools and equipment are protected as the air dryer avoids condensation problems and potential damage.
In brief, the air dryer is designed to cool down the warm met air as it enters the dryer to about 3 degrees Celsius. Through this process, any water vapour in the air condenses into water and is then removed from the compressed air via the water-trap. The cool air is then re-heated to approx. room temperature leaving the air within the tank much dryer.
We also offer a range of the Fiac Air Compressors including some of the Workhorse models.
