Description
Srem Fluxo S190 Solvent Cleaner Degreasing Agent is ideal for use to remove penetrants and is low in Sulphur and Halogens. It is compatible with any metal and synthetic material plus has a high evaporation rate which makes it easier to use.
S190 is long-lasting and generally used in most nuclear applications as part of the welding process. This product is also PMUC approved.
As part of the NDT kit, you can also use the P125 Penetrant & R180 Developer (low temp.) & R175 (high temp.).
Instructions for use
Before applying a penetrant to an area, all paint, oils, greases and any other contaminants must be removed, this can be achieved using S190. It can also remove excess penetrant after it has been applied being careful not to remove the penetrant within the defect areas. A contact time of 20 minutes is advised but can be shortened to a minimum of 10 minutes. A developer can then be applied to the part.
