Description
The PMUC approved White Gloss Nuclear Tape is a polythene extruded cloth tape coated with an aggressive, pressure sensitive rubber- resin adhesive, which is free from solvents and is specially designed to be used in nuclear power plants and submarines along with for sealing protective overalls, bags and sheeting.
The tape is also ideally suited to protect stainless steel pipework as it has minimal reaction to specialised steel surfaces. It provides a simple solution for protection and sealing thanks to its clean peel and easy tearing as well as its conformable properties which make it straightforward to use, even with awkward shapes. Features within the tape such as its good resistance to abrasion, its water-resistance and it being non-corrosive allow it to be long lasting and reliable.
It is pH neutral which allows for use of the tape in an abundance of environments and it can be easily written on, making it user-friendly.
A low Halogen content is ensured by the tape’s plastic core as well as its individual wrapping which provides maximum protection against contamination.
