Rock Oil Akwesol 554 Soluble Oil 20ltr
Akwesol 554 is a soluble oil for use in most workshops as a general cutting oil including operations such as cutting, milling, reaming, turning and drilling. This oil doesn’t contain any chlorinated, sulphurised extreme pressure additives or any genetically modified ingredients. It is also Bovine free.
This oil is also a non-phenolic, nitrite-free cutting oil which when mixed with water, forms a stable, milky emulsion. It contains rust inhibitors, biocides and stabilizers, to give extended life both in the workshop and under equipment storage conditions and prevents bacterial growth and odour generation.

Eye protection: If there is a risk of liquid being splashed: Chemical goggles or safety glasses. Standard EN 166 – Personal eye-protection.
Skin and body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Wear an appropriate mask.

Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Provide good ventilation in the process area to prevent the formation of vapour.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage conditions: Keep container closed when not in use. Store in the original container. Protect from moisture. Keep cool.
Incompatible products: Oxidizing agent. Strong acids. Strong bases.
Incompatible materials: Sources of ignition. Direct sunlight.
Storage temperature: 0 – 40 °C
