Rotabroach Element 40 Mag Base Drill 110 V
The Rotabroach Element 40 mag based drill is versatile and robust and ideal for most metal drilling applications. This model has a two-speed mechanical gearbox and reversible features to allow tapping. It is suitable for drilling up to 40mm diameter by 50mm depth.
The advanced Cutsmart technology will assist and guide the operator throughout the cut, optimising the performance of the machine. This is a unique feature to Rotabroach which enhances the life span of the machine plus maximises the number of holes you can get from each cutter.
This machine is ideal for most metal fabricators or for onsite use particularly for steel erectors, railways, construction and any other applications when drilling ferrous metals. The 40mm capacity will generally be sufficient for most drilling applications.
Cutsmart explained?
The Cutsmart technology is designed within the digital panel to increase your tool life and productivity which indicates if you are applying enough/not enough force to the workpiece whilst in the drilling process. This feature allows the mag drill cutter to do the work and produces faster drilling and a smoother hole finish.
On the digital panel, the three colours indicate:-
• Green Zone – This is the best practise to enhance the cut quality and optimum machine performance.
• Yellow Zone – A slight reduction on pressure is required on the drill to get back into the green zone. Drilling in this zone is ok but not for a long period of time.
• Red Zone – This machine is now overloaded to you need to release the pressure quickly before the motor cuts off.
