Description
The Tweco No.4 Air Cooled MIG Torch 15 ft is very robust and ideal for most types of MIG/MAG welding processes. This high amperage air-cooled mig torch is generally used in the structural steelwork industry where thicker materials of steel are welded all day long using either 1.0mm or 1.2mm mild steel mig wire. It is balanced to pivot at the centre of the handle which enhances ease of use as well as an easy- grip, oval shaped handle whilst reducing operator fatigue too. The torch has a heavy-duty design and a crush-resistant handle which makes it suitable for harsh working conditions thanks to its unique plastic composition.
Two ball-point screws are used to secure the Cablehoz® and conductor tube in place and a steel spring strain relief provides it support coming out of the rear of the handle which decreases wire feed issues. Mechanical connection of the conductor tube and Cablehoz® within the handle provide exceptional current path to the end of the contact tip.
In addition to this, the torch consists of a trigger containing silver plated contacts fitted with a self cleaning action which operates every time the trigger is engaged or disengaged. It also has a metal jacket conductor tube as well as a copper tube and a silicon-resin glass which gives it a three layer conduction tube construction and enhanced plug capabilities.
