Description
The Binzel MB25 cylindrical shroud is designed for use with the MB25 aircooled mig torches.
The cylindrical shroud is also sometimes referred to as a parallel shroud. These are very commonly used when welding at higher amperages or for use when welding with a larger contact tip. However, the larger straight bore does cause limitations in terms of access.
The shroud ensures that the shielding gas is concentrated directly around the weld pool which helps prevent porosity and therefore enables consistency and good finished welds.
