The 4043 aluminium alloy TIG rod contains 5% silicon content which gives excellent flow characteristics and weld penetration. This product is suitable for welding duralumin, cast (LM25) and wrought alloys 6063 (H9), 6061 (H20) and 6082 (H30).
This grade of aluminium is not suitable for subsequent anodisation as the weld will discolour.
